Definitions: What is leadership?
D. Quinn Mills, Harvard Business School professor, defines leadership in simple terms:
Leadership is the process by which one person influences the thoughts, attitudes and behaviors of others.
Certainly there are other definitions, and other views of what being a leaders entails. Here are some of the many thoughts on the topic of leadership. As you consider them, think about the different emphasis placed on varied aspects of leadership.
